NEWS THAT TICKS YOU OFF!

All right you have had more than enough time to read and comment on my last editorial. Now it's time for some more of my bitching about what's going on in our great country.

1. In one of my editorials several months ago, I stated that if we must go to war in Iraq, then let it be an all out war, not some politicians idea of war from an office in Washington. Kill every man, woman and child--leave no building standing for the enemy to hide in. I say it again---UNTIE OUR TROOPS HANDS AND LET THEM KILL ANYONE WHO LOOKS AT THEM WRONG!!! In today's paper (Monday 11/03/03 and on NBC news)) I see dozens of the children in Iraq dancing and cheering around a chopper that was shot down by a rocket. One child was even wearing a dead serviceman's helmet. My question is this---WHY AREN'T THOSE LITTLE BASTARDS DEAD NOW? Those little scum will grow up hating all Americans and we will be back at war with them in another twenty or so years. If our young troops must die thousands of miles from home in the name of "BIG OIL" then at least let them defend themselves without question. Like the old saying---"KILL THEM ALL AND LET THEIR GOD SORT THEM OUT"
   
   
2. Now on the topic of Terri Schiavo---Seems everyone wants a piece of this action, the parents--the state legislature, the governor and last but not least the husband. As I see it, when a man and a woman marry, their life belongs to themselves. It just seems that all types of people are trying to get their name or picture in the media by butting into something that has nothing to do with them! I see women (and men) protesting outside the nursing home where Terri is with their little children at their side. These mothers should be charged with child abuse for involving their children in this mess. A four or five year child has no idea what this is all about. How about all the other people that live in the nursing home, they have rights too. Did any of you jerks ask them if they minded you out side singing and making a pest of yourselves? Every one of you bleeding hearts should shut the hell up and mind your own damn business. The matter of when and how this lady passes on to another life is none of your damn business! The only people to have any say in how this family does things should be either Terri or her husband Michael. The idea of the state government passing a special law that can over ride a court and tell someone what to do with their personal lives, just scares the hell out of me. I ask what bleeding heart group will get the next law passed to suit their own needs. I don't know of anyone who would want to live like that for years on end. The doctors have had a dozen years to help Terri and there is nothing to do. To end this I say-- We treat our aging pets (cats and dogs) better than we do our kin folk. At least we can put them to sleep if they become unable to carry on a normal life. No, I am not saying kill everyone who is old either just let them make their own choices! If you are not a family member, sit down and shut the hell up you are just making yourself out to be stupid, this is none of your business!
   
   
3. On the news this morning (Monday 11/3/03) I heard about a political group that has sunk lower than rat crap in the name of "race relations". Seems a group called "Acorn" gathered up a group of "inner city" children in New Jersey and wanted to take them "trick or treating." The report didn't say how many children were picked but it was "a bus full". The children were taken by bus to a wealthy neighborhood and allowed to go from door to door for candy and treats. Now this sounded like a great idea to me till I heard the rest of the story. The children were told "when someone comes to the door, they should say "trick or treat--how come we can't live on your street?" Talk about a bunch of jackasses!! The radio host listed some real great answers for the question.
   
   
   1. If you had a father that worked, maybe your folks could afford a house here.
      
      
   2. If your mother didn't have 10 kids and 10 different fathers maybe she and you would have a nice home.
      
      
   3. If you stay in school and get a good education and job you could live on my street
      
      
   4. I doubt you could afford to live here on welfare.
      
   
   To use children in the name of any cause is just stupid as hell to me. All of the answers above (radio hosts answers not mine) seem to hit the nail right on the head though. It is really tiring to hear people wine when they don't have something that someone else has (this goes for all races too). Weather you are red, white, black or yellow, if you want something, go to work and earn it and quit blaming someone else for your lazy ass problems! (don't even say there aren't any jobs out there either)
   
   
4. Now how about some short comments on some of the stupidest things the people who run this country are doing.
   
   The government is spending $3,000,000.00 to fly a blimp around the country to let people know about Medicare (some politician's cousin probably owns the damn blimp).
   
   Our great government is spending $33,000,000.00 to tell you that we now have another new $20.00 bill. (like we really give a damn anyway---just spread that 33 mil. around the American people instead)
   
   Don't forget about the "billions and billions" of dollars heading for Iraq to rebuild their country. (screw the camel jockeys and give the bucks to us here at home)
   
   Then there is the hundreds of millions of American tax dollars going for "rewards" for turning Iraqis bad guys. (why not just offer to pay for the ammo to shoot the bastards?)
   
   Then there is a dumb ass Democrat in Iowa who wants $3,000,000,000.00 (three billion) for another "preschool" program where children under the age of four will be enrolled. (hell they might as well just take them to school when the mother gives birth--what happened to "childhood?)
   
   Now here is a real corker---The state of Florida is spending $300,000,000.00 taxpayer dollars along with another $200,000,000.00 from Palm Beach County (where do you think that county gets it's money from) to bring some jackass company here to Florida. The company is called "Scripps Research Institute" (if anyone gives a shit) That's right folks----$500,000,000.00 of your tax dollars! (screw the school kids---they don't need books any way---seniors don't need medicine either)
   
   

Last but not least (for now)---A "gay" Bishop---now that's where I would want my kid to attend church! Just throw the bible out the window and do things any way ya want! He will probably teach his flock some "new Tricks".
