I would like to take some of this space to thank all our service people, both men and women, who are putting their lives on hold while they defend this country. These troops both here and abroad have stopped living there lives and put their future plans on hold so that you may live your live and enjoy the freedom they are supporting. There are to many people out there pissing and moaning about our troops and how they treat the enemy. To those people I say "put a uniform on your ass, leave your family and loved ones and go over to the desert and see if you can damn well do any better! On second thought I don't think I want your candy asses defending me anywhere in the world, so stay home and let the real heroes fight for your right to sit there and bitch! On behalf of all the troops both at home in the US and those over seas, I would like to make this offer. If you or any of your buddies have personal photographs of yourself or your buddies doing what you do best (not that--you know what I mean), get in touch with me through this website. I would like to start a "active duty military troops page" or pages. On this page I will post any pictures you send and let the folks here at home see just what you folks are going through. DO NOT send any pictures that will get me shot by our government (like you standing with your foot on a dead terrorist's head--I know you would never do any thing like that any way). Pictures of you and other troops performing their normal duties---sitting on APC's or tanks--washing dishes, anything that you think the folks here at home may get a kick out of. If you choose I will at your request, post your name and a very short comment with each picture. The best way to send the pictures to me would be in a "JPG" format, if that is not possible where you are at, just contact me at this site and I will help you out the best I can.

I would also like to send a special "THANK-YOU" to the troops at the 29 Palms Base in California. They have been very supportive of this site and seem to have become one of this sites most frequent visitors! "SEMPER FI" guys. In closing this section of my editorial, as a veteran myself, I salute each and every one of you for what you are doing. It is because of people like you, no matter what branch of service you are in, that people here can feel safe knowing they are protected by the best trained troops anywhere in the world! Once again, I say-"THANK YOU AND I SALUTE YOU." Now send those pictures and lets show the folks here just how your life is going, thanks for all you are doing-------"GUMS"
