All right, it's time for something new here on the front page.

I have been watching this crap about how our troops treated the prisoners in the Abu-Ghraib prison. Here are some of my thoughts on this subject:

There are several links below if you wish to read all or any part of the Geneva Conventions which is where I got some of my information.

1. The people in this facility are NOT prisoners of war. They are a group of civilian terrorists and thugs that have one goal in life -- to kill Americans.
   
   
2. Since they are not military combatants, they have no protection under Geneva Conventions.
   
   
3. They also have no rights as civilians since they are taking up arms against an occupying military force. The Geneva Conventions states that civilian combatants should wear some type of insignia to separate them from the non combatant civilians.
   
   
4. The stacking of naked prisoners one on top of another, in no way should be considered "torture" or "abusive." Hell the towel heads probably enjoy it anyway. The same holds true for "leading a prisoner around with a collar and a leash, not allowing him/her to have any sleep for long periods of time, the wearing hoods over their heads and many other things that are being done to these terrorists. If you want to know the true meaning of prisoner abuse, just go ask some of the troops that were held captive in Viet Nam for several years. Anything we do cannot compare with what these Americans went through.
   
   
5. We must allow the use of physical coercion and sexual humiliation of these terrorist's to obtain intelligence about the growing insurgency in Iraq. Remember, this is not abuse to most people, only those bleeding hearts who have never faced an enemy who wants to destroy them. Damn, if they want to see abuse, turn me loose over there for a couple of weeks, I'd teach them how to really "love thy neighbor" (or cell mate).
   
   
6. Why is there no world out cry over the pictures of the Americans being murdered and cut to pieces and hung from a bridge with no heads--legs or arms? How about Mr.Berg who had his head cut off and the films were shown on Arab TV. Not a single Muslim leader has spoken out against these acts of terror against Americans. But put a collar on a towel head and they scream bloody murder. They should all be led around with a leash around their neck, or around something else!
   
   
7. The time has come to unleash our troops and let them be the warriors they were trained to be. Should the terrorist kill ten of our troops, then twenty of them should die. When they torture and mutilate our Americans, we should hunt them down and wipe out their whole family. These people have been killing for hundreds of years and are not about to stop now. They do not have to play by any rules and to win and protect ourselves, we shouldn't have to either.
   
   
8. I have no doubt that the CIA and various other intelligence groups are in charge of the prisoners in the Abu-Ghraib prison. As I see it, the only mistake that has been made is that some idiot took pictures of what was going on and let them get passed around. I have no doubt that we would all be shocked if the truth be known about other types of interrogation that has gone on with the approval of our "intelligence agencies."
   
   
9. I can understand why the guards did what they did. One week they are car salesmen, store clerks, waitresses and waiters and the next week they are guarding people who are just waiting for a chance to kill them. These prisoners have just killed your fellow service men and women, mutilated their bodies and you (as a guard now) are asked to kiss their ass and treat them like they just stole a piece of candy from a local candy store. To this I say "bullshit" treat them like the pieces of crap that they are.
   
   
10. I am not in favor of mistreating all prisoners. But when you have a group of prisoners like these, they must be treated like the animals that they are. Should we need information from these prisoners and they refuse, I say treat them like they would treat our troops if the situation were reversed. We all have seen how prisoners were treated while Sadam was in charge of that prison.
    
    
11. For those of you who think the things we are doing to the terrorist's in that prison are wrong and inhumane, I give you the following: Did you ever watch a High School football team practice? While I was in school (a very long time ago) The 200 pound coach would stand on the stomachs of the players with his cleats on while the player did leg lifts. He would sit on the players back while they did push ups lifting their weight as well as his 200 pounds---now that is torture! Have you ever seen what our own special forces, Rangers and Navy Seals go through in basic training, that's torture! The animals in Abu-Ghraib prison suffer very little if at all compared our own athletes or elite Military while in training.
    
    
12. The last comment I have on this topic is that I support our troops no matter what. They have a hard job to do and I don't think it's fair for some arm chair liberal to sit safely at home and judge their actions a half a world away! Like the old saying "don't judge them till you walk a mile in their shoes" If you think you can do their job better than they are, then join up, put on a uniform and go to Iraq and kick ass yourself!!

Mr. President, here we go again, here we go again.

Rushing to give aid and comfort to the enemy.

Pushing and pulling and shoving and leaping over one another to assign blame and point the finger at America the Terrible.

Lining up in long lines at the microphones to offer apologies to those poor, pitiful Iraqi prisoners.

Of course, I do not condone all the things that went on in that prison, but I for one, Mr. President, refuse to join in this national Act of Contrition over it.

Those who are wringing their hands and shouting so loudly for “heads to roll” over this seem to have conveniently overlooked the fact that someone’s head HAS rolled - that of another innocent American brutally murdered by terrorists.

Why is it? Why is it that there’s more indignation over a photo of a prisoner with underwear on his head than over the video of a young American with no head at all?

Why is it that some in this country still don’t get that we are at war? A war against terrorists who are plotting to kill us every day. Terrorists who will murder Americans at any time any place any chance they get.

And yet here we are, America on its knees, in front of our enemy, begging for their forgiveness over the mistreatment of prisoners.

Showing the enemy and the world once again how easily America can get sidetracked and how easily America can turn against it self.

Yes, some of our soldiers went too far with their interrogation tactics and clearly were not properly trained to handle such duty.

But the way to deal with this is with swift and sure punishment, and immediate and better training.

There also needs to be more careful screening of who it is we put in these kinds of sensitive situations.

And no one wants to hear this, Mr. President and I’m reluctant to say it. But there should also be some serious questioning of having male and female soldiers serving side by side in these kinds of military missions.

But instead, I worry that the HWA - the Hand-Wringers of America - will add to their membership and continue to bash our country ad nauseam. And in doing so, hand over more innocent Americans to the enemy on a silver platter.

So I stand with Senator Inhofe of Oklahoma, who stated that he’s “more outraged by the outrage” than by the treatment of those prisoners.

More outraged by the outrage. It’s a good way of putting it. That’s exactly how this Senator from Georgia feels.

NOW ON TO THE NEXT TOPIC

What is this crap that I hear on the news about a bunch of ministers and religious do gooders wanting to put an item on the ballot this fall. Seems they want the public to vote on banning all "adult entertainment" from Tampa. The ministers seem to think that topless and nude bars breed a lot of crime. Hell, I go to a titty bar and I just go home horny! I just don't think that looking at a bunch of "tits" makes men go out and start raping women and children. Just to set the record straight, I believe that more people die every year in the name of some religion than from viewing tit shots! People have been killing each other in the name of their gods for thousands of years now. So how about this----Let's ban all religion that way people would have to find another reason to kill each other. When was the last time you heard of two titty dancers getting into a fight over whose tits were bigger and killing each other over it? If the ministers want to do something about nude and tit bars, let them preach to their flocks on the evil of looking at a woman's "boobs." Myself I love "boobs"! So this would be the plan---No religion, no churches, no do gooders are allowed within five miles of any "adult" business. If a preacher can't keep his flock from going in these places then he needs to find another line of work. Besides, what right does he have to tell me or thousands of other adults what we can and cannot look at? If they don't want to look at tits, then stay out stay out of the bars! Hell I don't go to church then try to shut them down because of what they believe in. So just shut up and leave the adult businesses alone!! I'm not even going to get into the subject of all those "priests" and their private stock of little alter boys. Maybe if they had just gone to a "tit" bar they wouldn't have had to have sex with little boys.


AND ANOTHER THING

Has anyone noticed lately how every other ad on TV is for some type pill or other? The people who market all these drugs seem to want to turn the public into a bunch of junkies. From the time your kid is born, these folks want you to start feeding him/her pills for any number of stupid ass reasons. There are pills for weight loss, pills to help you sleep, pills to keep you awake, pills to calm you down, pills to pep you up, pills to get your pecker hard and pills to make your woman horny again (these ain't so bad though). There just seems to be no end to the crap these drug companies want you to stick into your body (and not just in your mouth either) for the rest of your life. Hell, if your rug rat doesn't do well in school, that isn't his fault, he has "Attention Deficit Disorder" so just pop him a pill and all will be ok. All he really needs is a parent who would take the little puke over their knee and whip his little butt once in a while.. I know a school teacher who teaches at one of those schools of "last resort" where kids go before getting thrown out of school for good. Even she states that these kids just need a good butt whipping once in a while. But no we just keep shoving pills down their yaps! Now they have even come up with one for us adults---that's right, now we have "adult attention deficit disorder." So now even adults who screw off at work can blame it on some stupid ass "disorder." Most of the people that take all these pills from the time they are born should be taking one more pill, it's called a "stupid pill"! The only reason behind all these pills is that "shrinks" want to make you feel that you can't live or function without them. Who knows, maybe some day they will come up with a pill so you won't have to eat that big turkey dinner at Thanksgiving or you won't have to bother with that awful tasting hot fudge Sunday--just pop a pill and be done with it, and no dishes to do either! Screw that!


NOW HERE IS SOMETHING BORING

Just what the hell is going on with these gasoline prices lately? Why when a gas station is scheduled to get a gas delivery on a Wednesday, do they raise the price two days before? The profit they make on the gas that is already in the ground is pure gravy! The two or three cents they jack up the price doesn't seem like much, but think of it in terms of billions of gallons at two cents each extra profit. As I see it, most if not all the blame lays right here in this country. People are pissing and moaning about the Arabs cutting back on their oil shipments to us. Well we in America only get about five percent of our oil from the "towel heads." Can you guess who the largest supplier of our oil really is? Canada that's who, they supply most all of our oil needs (Mexico and South America run a close second.) The problem doesn't lay with how much oil we get, it lay's with the oil companies. The oil companies in America, haven't built a new refinery in over thirty years now. Even if the Arabs opened up their pipelines to full volume, the oil would just sit in tankers at sea because we have no place to refine it. The oil companies have shut down dozens of refinery's to "refit" them. So no matter how much crude oil we receive, we can't do anything with it. Blame the oil companies first for having a limit on how much gas they can produce, then blame the stupid ass "tree huggers." These assholes are out there stopping us from drilling wells in frozen north country. There is more than enough crude oil right here in this country (and at sea) to supply us for the next thousand years. The tree huggers would rather save a spotted rat than let you have a car. Well screw them, when it starts costing me $15.00 to fill up my motorcycle, now they are costing me money (and you too). I don't really have an answer to the gas problem, but I do know these high prices are not necessary and there is plenty of blame to go around too.

Seems with a benefit for one reason or another almost every Saturday and Sunday, I think you should know what makes a good benefit and what makes a bad benefit. So I will be putting some ideas together on what to look for in a benefit. How to set it up, what makes good prizes and raffles, who should take care of the money raised etc. Basically how to have a good time and not get burned in the process. So if any of you out there have any good ideas, just let me know and I will include them in the article.
